In 2015, I decided I needed a creative outlet. My daughters were getting to be independent. I was established in my career. It was time to learn something new and I had always had a passion for flowers. I decided to go through the floral design program at my local community college and loved every minute of it! We learned about the importance of greenery, design elements, floral names and traits... it was wonderful!

After I finished classes, I found it challenging to continue my hobby as it became expensive to buy bunches of flowers just to practice and play but I still had a passion for design and working with fresh elements. This passion shifted to Christmas and designing with fresh and artificial evergreen. The anticipation of hundreds of pounds of fresh boughs that arrive each year around mid-November is wonderful! I decided these Christmas arrangements needed a bright finishing touch and had always been impressed by the hand-tied bows my mother would make every year for our Christmas packages. I asked her to teach me and a crazy, huge door was opened into the wonderful world of beautiful, bright, decorative ribbon and bow-making!

As my Christmas designs evolved, I developed a love for vintage, antique sleds. The sled designs are unique and, by their nature, these antique treasures are full of untold tales of family, childhood and the wonder of the holiday season. I found a passion for bringing them back to life and creating family heirlooms that provide a palette for sharing and story-telling of Christmas seasons past and memories to share across generations. I take incredible pride in each sled I create and hope it will become an integral part of each family's holiday traditions. No two are ever the same and each one receives every ounce of fussing and primping I'm able to provide!
